Victory Monday!!!!!!!

7 exclamation points. One for each win!
That was a fun game to watch as the Bears marched out to a two-score lead, and finished off the Vikings, winning 25-20. The first-place Bears are truly something – this team can flat out ball. Game had a little bit of everything – turnovers, defensive scores, a kicker actually making field goals, whoa!

What I loved
Eddie Jackson’s pick 6. Kirk Cousins came out and said it was because of the Vikings that the game got flexed into prime-time. Ummm, sure dude, sure. Your goofy ass looks like a politician with a perma-smile. He even has those corny catch phrases, what a lame.
Jordan Howard! He can run! He can run good! It was great to see him getting decent yardage on several carries against a tough defense (18 carries for 63 yards).
Mack doing Mack things. Of course he was the one that forced the fumble. Of course he was the one to recover it. Impressive to say the least.
The row boat celebration! How do you not love that??? If you hated it, then I hate you and you smell.
No dongs! Cody Parkey didn’t hit an upright. Everyone freak out!!!
(If you saw “No dongs” and thought it was something else, then this isn’t the right place on the intranets for you)

What I didn’t love
Mitch just having an OK game. He was 20-31, 165 yards and 2 interceptions. Not great, as that was well below his averages but at the same time, the Bears didn’t NEED him to be great yesterday. Gotta clean up those throws tho, can’t afford to give the ball away (even though our defense will likely just take it right back).
The Bears keeping the door open. Again, the Bears had a good lead 22-6 at one point, and still allowed the game to be close. Should we have won by more than 5 points? Probably. But a win is a win.
Those turnovers! Again, we threw the 2 picks, but Cohen got POPPED and coughed up the ball. Ball security, ball security, ball security. Maybe a little bit of ball security? OK, now I feel like I’m being too hard on them. Just keep the ball safe. With security.

Bears got the win. Bears are in first place with a decent lead, but this is no time to sleep. Up next, the Lions (again) on Thanksgiving Day. Quick turnaround, but we absolutely can’t be looking past the Lions. They just played a great game beating a very good (?) Panthers team at home. We’ll talk to Ray Gun later this week and get his thoughts, but for now, BEAR DOWN!!!
